I want to can some soup mix using tomatoes, corn and okra. Since the tomatoes and okra are starting to ripen but it will be a while for the corn, just wondering if I can freeze the tomatoes and okra and then heat them up and add the corn and then can them?
Teach, I hope I am understanding your question correctly. Yes, you can prepare your soup minus the corn, freeze, thaw and add corn later to can. I would cook it for just a little bit before actually freezing. HTH! :)
