If your immediate area or part of your water catchment has been burned over, please be on alert.
Debris flows from 'heat-sealed' or 'destabilised' slopes may be heading your way. Or may contaminate your water supply. Or rain / thaw simply runs off without recharging shallow aquifers such as river terrace gravels.....

A lot of advice common to snow avalanche strikes on buildings, but with a hard edge. Note how occupants may be trapped by security grilles. Even Alpine 'chevron' fencing / guard walls may not suffice...
