Anyone ever seen this before? Thought it was interesting, basically ready to go mix, just add water and presto you have bread if you have fire.

that mix can last as much as five years, IF you take the proper precautions. Also I wouldnt store the flavored packs that long.
For y2K, we purchased 2 lb boxes of Bisquick or Jiffy Mix, whichever one was on sale (watch the dates on sale products though), wrapped it in saran wrap, two layers, and stored it in airtight 5 gallon buckets. We packed around it with ramen noodles or other bags of pasta or provisions so there would be less air in the bucket. Most importantly, its stored in a cool dry place, like the back corner of a basement where the temperature stays below 70 degrees.
Vacuum sealing will help it last longer too.

Big fan af the just add water stuff.We have bought some(similar) at grocery outlets with dates from 06/07 recentley and we're stll kickin'.Bisquick is good stuff!
