  • DR. Bonners Pure Castile Soap!!

My wife said I should tell about something I use more than I do the Rawleigh salve. It is Dr. Bonners Pure Castile Soap in liquid form. I use it mainly for a hair wash, and if I have cuts or scrapes on my hands it sure will tell you. It cleans my hair so well even after a good conditioner it is hard to comb out wet. It is also good for washing floors, clothes, antibacterial, antiseptic, etc. Kinda all round use for sure and it only takes a few drops to a teaspoon in a gallon of water, depending on what your using it for. I get a 32 ounce bottle for $10.00 here and it lasts most of a year.
I use the peppermint, they have other aromas. I have used this product for over 30 years also. My aunt in New Mexico got me started on using this. She washed her dogs with it!!!!!
You can get it at most good stocked health food stores or over the internet. It stores for years and years without using potentcey.

It is great stuff! I bought several gallons of the almond scent last year. Made with real almond extract. Not cheap, but worth every penny. A gallon typically runs $40+, but I found it for $23 and bought all they had. Stuff will clean anything and everything.

I use it for half of the hundred of uses listed on the back. The only thing I dont like using it for is brushing teeth, it foams up to much and tastes bad. In a pinch this stuff is has so many uses.

          Big +1!

Dr. Bronner's............ can you really be called a "prepper" if you don't have at least one bottle on the shelf?

Mags I completely agree, could not have said it better!

I buy it by the quart and keep a few different scents around at all times (three quarts will last me about a year). I use it almost exclusively for everything from shampoo to laundry soap. I admit that it sometimes does not cut dish grease as well as some more commercial products do, but then again no one product is perfect.

PS-- Looking back at the thread title, it's BRonners with an R after the B...for those who may be searching and scratching their heads...

Anybody try the "Tea Tree?" Web site says that the Tea Tree oil provides antiseptic qualities. I only ever get the peppermint. Guess I'll spring for a couple of the small 2oz bottles and try different "flavors."

                Okay, mates!

Both Dr. Bonner AND Dr. BRonner make soap. Which is it?

Wifey, you padding your post count or didn't you see the link I added to my first post? I noticed the title was wrong and figured I'd add the site link to save people the confusion.
