beretta's are all great guns but for the money you could get a sweet m-9 for just a little more. .40 has wonderful stopping power but usually only hold around 10 rounds. with the 9mm holding something like 17rds in a stock mag for the px4. but it would be a great little gun that would be worthy of trusting in a life or death situation. in a nut shell you can never go wrong with beretta.

I don't know about the .40. The sheriff's office I was with was issuing the .45 cal. I couldn't have shot myself in the foot with it if I had my big toe stuck in the barrell.

Not suggesting that you personally can not shoot, but it is my experience that LEO's are some of the worst shooters on earth. I have personally seen them fake quarterly qualifications because they can't pass. I have also personally thrown them off the range for unsafe practices and disregard for proper gun handling.

I feel your pain. There are bad and unsafe shooter on both sides of the badge. While I'm at it, the handgun I was referring to was the Beretta Cougar, not the Storm...my error. I have never been thrown off a range. At least 25 out of the last 30 years I have had to qualify with something. I have failed once and that was with a Taurus 24/7 .45. I shot it fresh out of the box and was not prepared for the light weight of the weapon coupled with the recoil of the Winchester Ranger ammo. My side arm before that was a Para Ordinance .45 boat anchor. Anyway, I can't really comment on the Storm.
