I bought my wife a 640 (.38 Spcl +P) many years ago. Good gun for a lady. She seems to be able to use it too! Several years ago one of our bigger dogs was killing a stray that had wandered by. Being the animal lover she is, she got her pistol and shot our dog thru the neck at 75 yards! Our dog didn't die and the stray did from his injuries. I do what ever my wife says unless of course I am more than 75 yards from the front porch!
JUST CURIOUS? PRUNES ARE DEHYDRATED PLUMS. SO WHERE DOES PRUNE JUICE COME FROM?

I own a S&W 442 and I love it for its light weight and concealability. Having said that, I don't recommend it for newbies. The learning curve for snubbies is steep and I had to blow though many, many rounds before I became proficient. I can hit a standing still target COM at 25 yards, but I usually focus on scenarios at seven yards of less. It's amazing how easy you can miss with this gun if you're not experienced.
