Series 70 vs. Series 80 1911

I was wondering what people think of the differences between the series 70 and 80 1911?
I have repaired several series 80 that the firing pin saftey would not disengage while attempting to pull the trigger. I think this new style "safety" is dangerous, and should be removed immediately.
Series 70 all the way!

I do not care for the Series '80 innards. It was a solution to a nonexistant problem in my opinion. I prefer Series '70 Colts to anything else I can afford.
