Absolutely beautiful guns. Its on my list of "honey will you buy me this", things.. a little out of my comfortable price range... the Mr wants to build an AR, and if he is willing to sell his "bike" ... then he gets first dibs.. Ill tell ya this much- I love 'em so much, my littlest baby girl is named after them... well that and one of, if not, the greatest presidents
Reagan Kimber... :) Currently, the old man has me using a S&W .38 special.. jframe. I gotta tell ya, Ive got larger hands for a girl... long fingers... nothing dainty about these.... I prefer the 1911...

All Kimbers come with a match grade barrel, good crisp trigger they are ready to go right out of the box. Kimber got started several years ago when they noticed people were buying 1911.s and then spending a ton of money to acurize them, Kimber thought if thats what people want lets build them that way! And walah! a "custom tuned gun" right out of the box. Its hard to buy a better 1911 for less than a couple grand.

Yes worth every penny, I have a custom II target model, the first time I shot it gave me goose bumps, shooting offhand at 20 yds, shooting 200gn SWC handloads, 8 shots into a 2 inch group! Almost magical!

Thank for the input. I priced the gun and it is out of my range for now. I would love to get my hands on one but will have to wait.

    Finally got on

I have a Kimber Eclipse Custom and 2 His and Her Kimber tactical ultras. we bought the tacticals for an anniversary present as our carry weapons. I love the quality of the Kimber and the way they shoot. I have other Handguns but favor the kimbers

I have heard nothing but good stuff about Kimber products. Kimber offers one 45 that is sorta a base model, apparently it is as good as most custom jobs and the Boys at Delta pack em.
