No doubt you have noticed that all the ARs and AKs have been snatched-up or priced out of existance. The same is true for most tactical accesories including slings. Phoney Chinese black nylon 'silent slings' sell for $10.00. Chinese AK slings are $15.00.
I decided I needed some adjustable slings to replace the wide shoulder slings on my smoke poles. Cheaper Than Dirt offered what seemed to be the best deals; used leather G3 slings w/hardware for $4.97 and new german bazoka straps for $7.97 each.
I purchased four G3 slings and 2 Bazoka slings.
Two of the G3 slings were new, the leather and hardware on all 4 slings were excelent quality. The sling with is actually 15/16ths of an inch wide by 50" long. I'm using these slings on my 10-22 and Minis
The Bazoka slings are new, made from cotton poly webbing 1.75 wide and 51 inches long. The green metal snaps are 1" wide and just fit my detachable sling keepers. The quality is excelent and supports the weight of my riotgun and MBR well. If you hate chinese cr*p and are looking for well made weapon or gear slings I recomend these.
I bought a Nagant dog collar sling last night. Not cheap.
