  • Remington .22 subsonic ammo not firing correctly?

I have an AR15-22. Grabbed some Remington subsonic .22 ammo for it. I have not had a problem with any other ammo at all, but the subsonic ammo will fire the first round, but the chargin handle will need to be pulled back again. Wont seem to cock the bolt back. Whats the deal?

The subsonic is very low power ammo hence subsonic. It just don't have enough power to function the action properly.

Sub sonic will most often not cycle a semi-auto. A lot of the time, it says it on the box, but not always.

Are you Shooting through a supressor? I shoot a MKII and 10/22, both suppressed and I don't have any problems.

No supressor, just found out they are designed for use with a surpressor. How do you get one of those, and how much does it cost for the license?

Find a class III dealer .... $200.00 to the ATFBE for the "tax" stamp .... then the cost of the suppressor and necessary machining from the dealer.
