  • 1st gun show in 6 years!

I decided that due to a change in priorities I needed to dump some old gun related stuff and an un-needed piece of hardware. there was a very large gunshow about 100 miles away so I loaded-up a back pack and headed out the door.
During the first hour at the show I sold and swapped off 40 pounds of bullets and dies I had not attempeted to use for over 20 years and I sold-off some old "stuff" that had been following me through life for over 40 years.
By the second hour I was hawking my Hardware, I passed-up one offer then a few tables down whenI got an offer to trade plus cash, Lo and Behold laying on that table was a new Advantage Arms 22LR conversion unit for my Glock. I had been looking for just that item for weeks with no luck! Needless to say I worked a deal and came away with some cash to boot.
Though I found nothing for my Happy-Funtime 10/22, I went home at hour 2.5 with cash, ammo and the 22 conversion unit a much happier man!
The one thing that struck me about the show was the hugh amount of Black Rifle and Pistol stuff that was on display, truely half the show was taken-up with AR/AK stuff.

That's a kewl li'l kit for the G-gun...we used 'em in training to save on ammo cost...

I've noticed the same thing going on at all the shows around here....they're mostly AR-fests, with a bit o' Springfield XD fever splashed in.....not a whole helluva lot else....
