In the near future, I will show how easy it is to field strip this little jewel. It is almost as easy as the AK-47.

I respect the M-1, but like the FAL. I have little respect for the AR/Stoner design.

Is that a fixed flash suppressor or removable? Did you replace the wood hardware or was this original? The photo isn't clear whether the forearm has bipod cut-ins or a bipod attached. Can you tell us what you think about the bipod?

Oh' and let me be the first to say, "Sweet knee you have there!" ;-)
Let me quantify. The receiver is NOT Belgian...it is an American receiver with a Belgian parts kit. Flash suppressor is fixed, not removable. Stock is original military issue, not the wood. The wood stocks are hard to find, and I like synthetic better anyhow. The stock has no markings, but I assume it is South African. Most of the battle built synthetic ones are. It definatly has some battle scars.

No bipod cuts. Never used one with the built in bipod. And I have fired many.

Just because you like my knee, does not mean we will be swappin spit in the shower later!! :D

Yes, it is metric. If my memory serves me right, and it usually does, the Brit and the Aussie ones are the only Inchers.

1.5 million dead Congolese can't be wrong!! It must be decent even in the extreme climatic conditions of the Congo.

    The finest Battle rifle EVER!

Here is a photo of my FN FAL. Original Belgian. In my opinion, the most reliable battle rifle ever designed.
