  • government is now secretly tracking all ammunition sales

This email was sent to me by a really good friend and i thought i might share it with you all.The main reason I'm emailing you all, however, is to alert you of a new government crack down. My Nephew who flew the big chopper for the Marines in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan got in touch with me this morning. He is now a cop in Sacramento, and a member of the SWAT Team. He warned me that buying ammunition, now, in our area is very dangerous. If you have any sort of a criminal record, no matter how small, the SWAT Team has been directed to go to your door and arrest you if you buy ammunition, and that means .22 bullets. The . If for any reason, you have a felony conviction in the past, no matter how small, the police will come to your home and arrest you immediately and take you straight to jail. It has started. The BASTARDS (550 professional politicians)are beginning to confiscate our guns. This is a "HEADS UP"! PLEASE pass this on to all your networks.

If i may ask, how do they know who is buying the ammo? Nobody asks for any ID when I buy ammo. Unless you pay with credit card, how could they know who is buying what?

          Ammo laws

Ammunition laws vary state to state. What are the laws in Kalifornia? I heard that in either Massachusetts, or maybe Connecticut, you have to actually fill out paperwork, a background check, and pay a special tax when even buying 50 .22 shells! A coworker's son in law stocks up whenever he comes up here to avoid all the bs....

I think that may be CT, in Massachusetts, even though ammo is semi scarce and expensive, there is no paperwork to file...yet

Per the NRA, there are no State laws requiring the tracking of ammunition sales. There may be a small town or two that has a municipal ordinance, but nothing on the state level.

I'm against all On-Star equipped ammunition. The last thing I want is to shoot somebody and have to answer questions to the On-Star representative. "We heard your gun go off, are you okay?" Oh I'm alright but you might wanna send an ambulance, come & pickup your people.
