I've always been a tradidtional muzzleloader but was gifted a T/C Thunderhawk .50. Tried sighting a scope on it and could NOT get it on paper. I may have to shim it to use the mounts I have for it.... But with the stock sights I can keep them in two inches at fifty yards. If the scope ends up a bust I'll put a guide sight on it instead.
Keep your powder dry!!

Yeah me to but I got this one for 50.00 buck so I had to try it. I've alway shot a .45 cal Kentucky Rifle, or .50 cal Hawken Rifle. ( Yes the movie Jeremiah Johnson when I was a kid got me the Hawken)."We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately."
