  • Old Glock or New Glock?????

Hey guys have a choice here i have one of my customers trying to sale me one of his glocks its a Glock 23 in .40 and its the older one no finger grooves or rail on it and its in brand new conditon he has 6 mags all the paperwork and tupperware container asking 375.00 OR i could just save up more and get the glock 21 sf in 45 for 580.00 brand new, the caliber dosent matter to me but what do you think in the better deal?:D:confused:

I would have to say that is a damn good deal granted it is in the condition you stated. If you don't need the finger groves or rail then go for it. The rail is sort of gimmick on a polymer gun anyway IMO.

Also forgot to add .40 is a great caliber. Ammo is not to bad on price And most hollow pints have excellent expansion and penetration. It is my caliber of choice, 9mm in a very close second.

he is right H&K is a WAY WAY better gun. there are a lot of guns that i would trust over Glock for sure. I would look into it a little better before you buy anything. but if you must have a Glock they aren't bad guns.

              Better gun

This is the the whole ak vs ar its whatever you like theres always a better gun in the next guys eye. Hk is over priced in my opinion, kimbers are more accurate but to heavy to carry etc etc and so on:rolleyes:

I would go with the old Glock at that price and in that condition with all of those extra mags. I don't need the Pic. rail, it is nice but not a must have. And with the money you save you could buy extra ammo or gear. My grandfather use to say "any gun at a knife fight is the best gun ever";)

I know many love Glocks, but I cant stand them. Hate the way they feel, plus have seen first hand, guns malfunction. I would, and do, trust mine and my familys lives to H&K. Folks do complain about price, but, you get what you pay for. Ours lives are worth every cent..

OK people: HK! Glock! which is better?... yadda yadda yadda.... thats not the original question of this thread. Neverknow, i'll plunk down $375 for an older .40 glock with 6 magazines if in decent shape. And by decent shape, i mean less than 10k rounds thru it.

                            Glock update

Turns out it was second gen and it was a real sweet deal i think. I got the glock 23, 6 mags 4 still sealed, 4 glock mag holders, Fobus paddle holster, Bianchi leather holster, 200 rounds ammo, container and cleaning kit for 375.:D

                              Ultimate test

See if you can bring them both to the range and try them out. Go with the one that is more accurate to your style or technique. After the test, and if you are still undecided go with the less expensive one.
