The tube ejection system is there so it is truely ambidexerous, anyone that has LHed a bullpup quickly learns that it is not fun getting a charging handle or hot brass in the face! Something I had to live with w/M-16A1 was hot brass down my fatigue shirt when firing prone! Frankly it looks like there is too much recoil with this light weapon! A chambering for 7.62X39 may have been wiser but it appears that Kel-Tec designs firearms for thier marketing potental and the market has been flooded with cheap AKs for over 2 decades.Last edited by kenno; 11-22-2009, 11:56 AM.

I was really stoked a year ago when i saw info about this gun since i shoot lefty. Also, you can get velocities like a long barrel out of a short overall pkg.
555 can you give an accuracy report?

It's listed on Kel tec's website
and it seems the ejection system is overly complicated, the more moving parts you have the greater the likelihood of a malfunction
Build up in the ejection tube is next to nothing. This included 300 rounds of copper washed chicom, 400 rounds nato brass, and 300 rounds of S. African smokey arsed crap loads.
Don't let the door hit you in the arse buying one of them. That's my personal experience.
You are going to have a long wait to get one though. I pre-order mine, and got it for 1850. Now they are back ordered to hell and back.

Your best option is to hit one at an auction site as found in that link.
The probability of them staying 1900 range is next to nill. They are becoming popular really fast. I am trying to get a second one asap before they get to outrageous.

It appears this rifle has a closed ejection port. The spent brass is funneled into a tube that sit there until the tube becomes full and then the pressure builds up until several are thrown out together. I could be wrong but it would appear that repeat firing over time will build up gunk in this tube causing pressure to either force back into the chamber or rupture the ejection tube.
I believe the gun has a design flaw.

Recoil looked a little harsh for a 7.62 round
