It's quickly becoming a giant quagmire for the Rus and a test session for the west. Well for mid level systems anyway right now, as they won't hand over some systems yet. Stuff like the Copperhead and RAP rounds for the m777, is still not given by the USA.

The mighty Russian military is at a stalemate.

May 9th is a big thing in Russia. Putin rolled out big parades and beat we are bad a$$ drums.

I'd bet you'll find the article interesting and historically quite accurate..

The Copperhead M172 shell for the 155mm Howitzer is flat wicked. Ukraine is a good test for a lot of new platforms that haven't be tested in combat conditions.

Biden is only willing to go so far. He's willing to give Ukrainians MANPADS or the Stinger B. The Russians launch missiles from their territory where the Stinger B can't reach them. Biden isn't willing to give Ukrainians the S-300 because it could easily reach into Russia and take out their aerial launching platforms over Russian territory.

It's proving the game plane was flawed. the invasion was supposed to be a lightning quick thrust to capture the capital, now the rus are in a protracted invasion, has been sanctioned by the west. Now has to rethink how they will dig themselves out of the hole. Mail order bride systems must be in a tizzy

As Putin's plan was a quick invasion and a great celebration following on May 9th; his plan was worse than flawed.

Not only sanctioned by the West, Ukraine is being supplied by them.

IMO, Putin is certifiable and if he backs down, he is finished.

Don't forget Sweden Finland and Ukraine have started the process of forging stronger ties with NATO. That probably wasn't what he was hoping for.

Perhaps it wasn't what he hoped for; however, he did create it. In more ways than one; Putin is one sick puppy.

A Russian oligarch commented Putin has "blood cancer and was taped. I'd post the link except this site truncates them so they are unusable.

Yes there's been talk of needing cancer treatment or something. It's been a politically correct soviet way to dissappear someone.

If Putin would die under the knife; I'd bet the surgeon would also disappear.

Russian peace demonstrators were arrested and trucked away to never, never land.
