  • Browning 300

Thinking of buying a Browning 300. Approx 3 yrs old and needs a new stock. Current owner wants about $250-300.00. Any thoughts out there?

Any browning is a good gun, but the cost of ammo for this one is a killer.

I think you would be better served with a common caliber rifle and one that is serviceable to begin with. It's going to cost you more in the long run to replace the stock and buy ammunition for that rifle. Check your gun and pawn shops after hunting season for a better choice. Good luck.
