Wally World usally has them in stock. I like the stainless all weather version myself. I put a Choate Machine and Tool company pistol grip stock on mine. Recommend the Butler Creek Bbrand "Steel Lips" High Cap Mags for them if they are available in your area.

Any of you guys looked into paying the tax and converting to full-auto on your .22s?

It ain't cheap; I can pull the trigger pretty fast or get a rubber band, tac trigger or BMF activator for it. Rather spend the money on other esstentials.

Good answer....lol....I don't think it's a necessity, but my buddy Shawn could afford it, and did it, just for kicks.....I'll tell ya, .22 may be a lite-load, but put a couple thou through a fully auto 10/22, and you will definitely feel it for a day or so....:D

We chopped a few saplings down with his a few week ago...what a blast...

Some Wal Marts have stopped selling firearms all together. If your Wal Mart still sells Firearms then you can ask them to order it for you. If you have an Academy Sports I would try them as well. Again I would recommend the Stainless All Weather. Good Luck.

The Wally Worlds in Raleigh area stopped, but luckily I work near Smithfield, and they stock them. I find Dick's seems to always have them in stock and if you check your Sunday paper, you can sometimes find a deal.

I have 3 stocks for mine: the original walnut, folding composite, and the bullpup. I keep the folder on, the bullpup is fun, but I have to shot righty which is OK, but I prefer lefty.

This is a P-6 stock made by Ram Line,as far as walmart,Iam hearing that with obama taking office everyone is scared and buying everything up,I hope this is not the case and we return to some kinda normal soon as far as restocked ammo,Walmart has been stopping there guns sales for some time now because of someone that bought one there and went out and killed someone some time back,CYA and cant blame them, other than wallmart seems like everyone else still has ammo on shelf.....Txrebel

Yep, none in Guilford co. Alamance, Forsyth and Ronkingham counties still do though.

                              Full Auto Conversion

The BATFE was out here to inspect me last fall. When they were here I was told that there are 'no more conversions' allowed. "Full Auto's that are on the market now are it!" You're not even allowed to make one from scratch, pay the $200 tax, and register it. I have enough parts to assemble a few more MAC 10's, minus a few parts, and I was asking them about doing just this. It will take a little research to find out for sure, but I doubt that they were not telling me the truth about it.

The guys and gals that come out here are "hard" of course, but overall they understand that we are doing this TO BE LEGAL and understand. I have found that the individual agent has so many irons in the fire that they themselves can't keep up with all the changes.

What I'm saying is that before you even start such a project check FIRST, just to be sure.
