  • Ammo limits

Just got back from my local Walmart...went back to sporting goods to see if the had anything in stock. Stock was about 10% full for .22 and center fire ammo. I asked for 2 boxes of 550 count .22lr...and was told that the limit was ONE box of anything. I could buy ONE box of EVERYTHING...but no more than one of each type.
I asked if this was a new company-wide policy...
    "No...just this store for now"
The clerk was actually the guy that suggested the limit to his manager, and we spoke for quite a while. He said that a lot of bulk buying customers have been pissed off big time...but other "one box" customers really appreciate the limit.
He also told me that this store has sold over $750,000.00 worth of ammo since the week of the election, and his purchase requests are now coming in at roughly 1/3 the ammount requested...if they come in at all.

I'll bet if you call the customer service number at WM and you get a gift certificate and they put a stop to the limits. They are in the business of selling and the quicker they turn over products the better their cash flow.
Diplomacy is the art of saying "nice doggie" while picking up a big stick.

The kid opened the case and got out three boxes of ammo for me night before last at Wally-world only to be told by another employee that they weren't allowed to sell ammo after 10:00PM? What's that about? I wasn't even real drunk yet?
JUST CURIOUS? PRUNES ARE DEHYDRATED PLUMS. SO WHERE DOES PRUNE JUICE COME FROM?

Hey fellas I changed my address. My trailer fell of it's jacks and rolled into the neighbor's yard!

              You've still got teeth!:D

I found out about the 10pm rule the hard way. Was heading for a kayak trip and forgot to bring ammo for my yak gun...."not after 10pm sir"...and I had cleverly disguised my Lord Calvert breath with Michelob mouthwash. I even put my teeth in!
