Depending on where I'm going or how I'm dressed. Normally I have a hip pack style carry pouch. My EDC is a PT-24/7 Taurus 9mm with a 17 round mag in place and 3 extra mags. I have 4 more in a maxpedition bag in my truck along with an extra couple boxes of ammo in the console

I carry on my body! A kimber compact or ultra 2 spare mags. On trips out of the local area. I have in the truck a terriost interdiction bag 3 30 rnd ar mags,6 spare pistol mags ,4 led flashlights on neck lanyards, weapon light for ar, A fixed blade knife, and a kimber pistol. A chest rig with 8 30 rnd ar mags. My M-4 in a covert back pack. Now I know some might think I am a nut! But in truth, I live on the mexico border. In a rual area. When I drive to Tucson.I get to read all the sighns on the side of the roads. Warning about the area is un safe and not under control by the us Don't leave the road way. And also as a 8 year ex police officer. I know that if a pistol is drawn in a situation much less used. It will be tagged and bagged for evidence in most cases. So I have a spare.

I carry a S&W 442 in a IWB holster on weak side cross draw with a Kimber 2 shot Pepper Spray strong side front pocket. This gives me a non-lethal option so I can decide the appropriate level of force depending on the threat. I carry one 5 shot speed loader reload on my trouser belt. Wallet left front and cell phone on belt (or cargo pocket if wearing work pants).

I never go anywhere I need to worry about holding off the Army of the Dead. I do have a "Get Home" bag in the truck that has my Mossberg 500 pistol grip shotgun loaded with "Buck and Ball" an additional 24 rounds attached to the side of the bag.

I know a 38 SPL+P is not optimal but I can shoot confidently placed tight groups with it at typical engagement ranges.

I believe that putting the lead where I want it consistently with solid follow up shots is more important than a near miss with 44 Magnum. (Though muzzle blast could be a deterrent).

It has after market Crimson Trace laser grips (tall version).
I find the extra finger allows me to get back on target quicker.

Hmm, all during Desert Storm I carried a loaded S&W Model 10 (6 rounds) with 18 rounds of ball in an MTM Ammo Wallet.
My EDC has the same 18 round wallet to supplement the 5 in a speed loader and 5 in the S&W 442.

That is 4 rounds more than I carried in combat.

I suppose if I actually planned on being in a gunfight, the Mossberg 930 SPX with XRAIL Mag extension for 22+1 rounds of OO Buck would be in my hand.

I carry a G-19 or G-21 depending on the season with at least two extra mags with a rifle in the SUV. I also have a surefire weapon light, flashlight, knife, pepper spray, moleskin notebook, pen, phone that I carry each day away from work.

Normally I carry a Glock 17 and one spare magazine, sometimes 2 spare magazines. It depends on where I'm going and what I plan to do. If I go to a bigger city, I generally carry the Glock 17, 2 magazines and a spare gun of some kind with 2 extra magazines for that gun as well. It's not unusual for the spare to be a Sig Sauer P-220 in .45 caliber. Recently I have been thinking about carrying an AK rifle with a folding stock as well in my travels just to be safe. AK rifles fold up into some pretty small packages and can fit into tennis racket bags. That would give you a pretty potent shooting package in an emergency should something happen in the area you happen to travel.

I carry three extra loaded magazines for my CS45. I use Federal 165 grain Hydrashok. I have a Bianchi nylon fanny pack with secret holster. I love it, and baby it as they are no longer made. I also carry a badge, lightweight cuffs, and a bright flashlight. Oh, and a gel pen sometimes that turns out to be the most important. I have a brand new FIST kydex iwb custom holster and magazine carrier. I have never used it. The fanny pack is lots better.

my everyday carry varies on the seasons. I really like FNH . when it is hot out I carry my FNS9 with a spare mag (17rd) now that it is colder and I can wear bulkier clothing ,I love my FNX45 (15rd) it's like taping a brick to your belt but feels good knowing you have lead to throw
