Your secondary vehicle is down what do you do?

Ok, well you wake up to your girlfriend crying and you find that her vehicle has been burnt to a crisp along with all of the survival supplies in it that you keep in there. She takes your vehicle to work. How are you going to replace it and the supplies you lost? Now you realize that, after talking with your neighbors that the vehicle next to yours was the one that was targeted. It was set on fire by a moltiv cocktail. Well this area is stating to destabilize.

What if the SHTF moment happens now, what will you do?

By the way all, except for the SHTF moment, this just happened to me today. :mad: Thought it would be a good exercise, just in case it might happen to anyone else.

I won't store all my gear in one place from now on. Then I would think about moving. As long as you are safe gear can be replaced family can't.

Insurance was called and I am looking into a new place already. It was just her get home gear, but still just a complete pain. Most of the gear is at home locked up.

Thank God we don't have any neighbors that close and besides the dogs bark when they hear an Amish buggy 1/4 mile away so good luck sneaking up in a vehicle.

The gear you had stored was simply a convinience. If ppl are throwing incendiary devices in your proximity you are obviously in the wrong area. As for your gear, just go collect more. When the time comes that you will need something, its likely there will be plenty lying around to scavenge.

i would call insurance, pull from my reserves, arm my self and keep a watch see if they try coming back for the other vehicle

I am with echo here move it was the car today what if they get more upset with whoever and decide to burn the whole place down things are things but you have a hell of a time replacing friends and family

First I am a huge fan of a 500 dollar car which you can find pretty easy when your not picky. Vehicles are consumable to me so as far as I am concerned about my wife getting her car burned (dang, guess I dont have to pay the extra insurance now) and evidently I have not made it clear to my neighbors who the top dog is around the neighborhood so I am going to have to law down some law, not to mention there is no way all my survival stuff would be in her car, that stuff is everywhere.
