  • Mob Rule

A mob has taken over almost all legitimate protests the past few weeks. The exception being the protest in Tulsa Ok. Many outsiders had come to town to protest at the Trump rally. The locals had planed a march past the rally site on their way to a Juneteenth celebration. When the outsiders tried to instigate a disturbance with rally goers or police the local community stepped in and stopped it. we had no riots, broken windows, looting or beatings. I was proud to watch people with common sense step up for their community and fellow man keeping the peace while all exercised their right to express their opinions.

Riots break out where the local government will tolerate (or sometimes even assist) them.

Oddly enough this is also what happened in Detroit. Of all the places that had serious problems with rioting Detroit was a notable absence. I saw the Detroit Chief of Police saying how the people banded together to keep the outside agitators out. We need a lot more of that.

Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes the reason is you are stupid, and make bad decisions.

To my knowledge WV has had no rioting and minimal protest. Might be something about every crazy hillbilly carrying a weapon. Right to carry should be EVERYWHERE! That would have stopped a lot of this.

I think anywhere that people congregate is dangerous in today’s time. I feel for people who are in or near population centers regardless of which state they live in. We all witnessed the impact on product availability with supply chain interruptions early on in the pandemic. People were fighting in the isles over toilet paper. Think what they will do when they are hungry and desperate. There are no safe spaces from mob rule if you are near other humans.

I have as little to do with other people as I possibly can, I find I dont have much, if anything, in common with other people.
