  • changing the mic?

Can anyone tell me if a five prong military M-250 hand mike be rewired to work with a civilian CB radio? Thanks!

You need an adopter and only a CB specialist may be able to procure one. It will not be a common item.

I doubt it. There is no actuator (push to talk button) is there?

Yes. Is there a button to transmit or is it like a regular phone?

There is a transmit button on the side. On military radios you can keep it on the handset and the conversation isn't blared out over a loud speaker. Keep the handset close to your head and it's a private conversation. Probably sounds silly, but there's ways to communicate with it that civilian systems can't provide.
