Welcome to the home of The Rock Hill Hamfest and Computer Expo sponsored by The York County Amateur Radio Society. Just ten miles south of Charlotte NC. Rock Hill is perfectly located to draw attendees from Charlotte. We are also only about an hour or so from Greenville/Spartanburg, Columbia SC and Hickory NC and just a little further from Shelby, NC. Because of this location we are centrally located and receive many attendees from these locations for our annual hamfest. We hope you will add The Rock Hill Hamfest to your hamfest calendar this year.

thanks man, I was unable to go to the one in salisbury this past saturday. I am still trying to get my ticket so I can get on the net. I already have a rig to listen with, I am proud of it, it is a Radio Shack HTX-252 2m/440. I printed the handbook for it off the internet and power it off of a 12-volt jump box with an inline fuse. I hope to make a manpack for it so I can pack it with my bug out bag when it it is not in use mobile.

This location is approx 20 to 30 minutes West of Asheville, NC just off of I-40.
Saturday, July 25th, 2009 at the Haywood County Fairgrounds.
Here's a link...

Morganton, NC (Catawba Valley) Hamfest April 18th 2009
Pretty good little hamfest that literally was in my backyard when I used to live in Burke County :)
Think R&L is the ONLY new equipment dealer there... so no dealer cut throating going on for the best prices :( Still not bad prices...
