Has anyone seen the movie The Hunger Games???

What rock have you been living under. LOL. Just kidding. Seriously though, you need to quit working quite so much. Pretty good movie, but the books are better (series of 3). The similarities to our current society are interesting. Hope you enjoy.

You are right I work too much , the past 4 days have been 14 plus hour days...Now we are off for 5 days for Labor day.
We watch very very TV , if we do,It is usually the discovery, history, or fox news, once in a while a movie. I knew about the book but did not know they made a movie…looking forward to seeing it. I understand they are working on part 2 all ready.??

Our grandchildren are into this movie and also have the books. My daughter has read one of the books and I am going to get it from her when they are done with it to read.

I agree it is a good movie. I borrowed my daughter's DVD and will buy my own copy when the price drops. I am cheap. If you usually watch history, consider this our possible future history.

From what I've seen, alot of our cities inhabitants already look like there from the capitol. Heaven help us.

No, It was bad enough when I was there 25 years ago. Would hate to see it now. Have actually tried to avoid large cities for the last 12 years. Visited most of the large ones (NY, LA, Frisco, Chicago, Tokoyo, Rio, Sydney, etc.) when I was young, didn't loose anything there, have no reason to go back.

We do not go to the movies, we rarely watch TV…except for the news and channels like history, and discovery. I guess I pretty much do live under a rock.
