  • What's your favorite war movie? (Memorial Day)

    Since it's Memorial Day weekend and they're playing a lot of war movies, I was wondering what's everyone's favorites.

    These are my top 5;

    Saving Private Ryan

    Full Metal Jacket

    Platoon

    Apocalypse Now

    Hamburger Hill

    I like all of them, and Midway, The Deer Hunter, Bridge on the river Kwai, Enemy at the Gates, then there's Red Dawn, and The Patriot. Just some off the top of my head.

      Those are some good ones too.

      Inglorious Bastards, The Thin Red Line, and The Hurt Locker to name a few more.

                      Patton. Not much on actual action scenes but I've always loved that movie since I was a kid.

                            Sands of Iwo Jima, The DI (not technically a war movie), Patton and Full Metal Jacket.
