Hey Mike - we're still finishing the editing and then moving to distribution. There's nothing to download yet unless you just want to see trailers. The movie itself will probably come out right about the time you're back. I can get you an email with the trailers if you can receive semi-large files by email. Just let me know what you want and what size attachments you can receive.

Nice pic, by the way! My M82 makes an appearance in the movie, turning cover into ineffective concealment for the bad guys. I'm looking forward to seeing how that part turns out.

Your very welcome. I am not one to blow smoke. I truly liked what I saw and heard in the interviews. Of course ....the film festival schedule makes total sense from distribution stand point. As someone who brings investor dollars to real estate, Oil , and natural gas deals, it might be beneficial at some point to start a dialogue. Not making any promises, But you never know what people want and/or willing to invest in until you ask. Just a thought

Wow - I really appreciate it, Arak. We're working hard on it, and it's always nice to get positive feedback!

As far as investors and support - we have actually fully funded the movie and are nearing the completion of the full edit. Now we just have to sell it to a distributor. I'm an investor too, so appreciate what you're suggesting. At this point, though, further investors isn't something we could leverage. Now if you know any distributors "in the business" - drop me a line :-).

We are fairly quiet as we're focused on finishing up the rough cut. The goal is the end of this month, but that's a lot of work. Some big film festivals are coming up (names you would recognize), so we're scrambling to get our submissions to them. Hopefully that will help us land a distribution deal. THe release date is highly dependent on the distribution arrangement, so we still don't know what that will be.

I really want to see the finished production. The bits and bytes.. trailers and clips were great. particularly for a low budget indie. I was impressed. I hope they get to stay on schedule

I'm a long-time poster on ar15.com survival forum and other areas, and stumbled across here today. Wish I had found it sooner.

I'm also a producer of Remnants, and wanted to stop in, introduce myself and answer any questions you may have. I can pop on some content from the movie if you like. I can also provide regular updates if there's interest.

Primary production is "in the can." We are currently knee deep in the editing, SFX, mixing and audio process. We are currently pushing through ~5 minutes of the movie each week, and expect to have the initial cut done on Sept 1. We do not know what the distribution channels will be. In the indie world you have to make your movie and show it around to see if someone wants to buy it. We certainly have high hopes for a big announcement in Q4.

While we ended up not showcasing as much survival "how to" as I had originally hoped, the movie is absolutely intended to be a showcase of how a disaster could effect you and yours - and in a way that could reach a wide audience. I joined the team specifically to help spread that message, so I hope we're successful in that arena (if nowhere else).

As mentioned - pop any questions or feedback you have here! I'll also add a good deal of content here if there's interest. I only have 14 more posts to make before I can start adding URLs and images :p
