monet, I could not agree more. That woman makes me want to have a gender change. I really do hope she gets her humble pie soon. Unfortunately, I don't want to see her get fed to the zombies ONLY because she has a child. If she did not have a child dependent upon her, I would agree wholeheartedly.
My biggest beef with the show: The father and son that the main character meets up with go back to an unsecured house with no hot water, or other means of heat/cooking/etc. This was after leaving a police station that was secured with proplane heat/hot water/cooking abilities, windows that were barred to prevent the zombies from coming in, and other resources/built in protection. Or even better yet, why did they decide to wait until he could shoot better???? Did he think his odds would be better with 1 man and 1 teenager v. 2 men and 1 teenager? He seemed like a good shot when he was trying to finish off his wife. I understand that maybe why he wanted to stay, that was the last house he saw her alive, he had unfinished business/honor to take care of his wife. yeah, I understand. However, he has a boy that needs to be kept safe, fed, and somewhat mentally cared for. Now is not the time to be taking risks.... or that is my take on it, at least.

In tonight's episode it came to light that the friend lied and told her he was dead. Being a Deputy and friend she would have no reason to doubt him. As far as I am concerned she has a temporary stay on the Zombie Fodder. HOWEVER, that depends on what she does next. Is she going to tell Rick what happened or hide it?

Ahhh! I don't watch my shows on sunday. I watch them Monday night, so I was not aware of this.... then the friend needs to be zombie food!!! grrrr.... angry eyes.

The thing we don't know is why he did it. Another Caveat. Was it to get in her pants or for some other reason? Until we know why it is hard to judge him either. Lord knows I didn't see the wifey angle coming. Damn I am suffering from RJS (Rational Judgement Syndrome)!! I want to say just screw him but I can't. I have to let this play out. And I refuse to look up the original comic. Please no one ruin it for me lol.

Have not watched it yet, maybe in the morning(I work nights). I say you go find some zombies and shot one of them(wife or friend) in the foot. I'll have to watch it to decide who, but someone's gotta go, but I am mean.

Even my wife is watching this and she is not a zombie fan by any measure. Seems to be potraying the survivor side, the still-human side, to a greater degree than most shows of this type. The zombies are staying in the background, for now. Would have liked to have seen him fire a flechette round from the abrams into the zombie crowd... he could have painted the town red. Guess he was not prior military... Oh, he is one hell of a shot with every bullet in the head. I know, quit nit-picking.

I also recently finished WW Z and found it a good, entertaining read.

Yeah walking dead is good, but WW Z was great!! A definite must read for zombie fans.

theres a reason you dont see the characters grabbing up all the guns, tanks, and hummers laying arouhd. its called a budget LOL. I was thinking about that the other day watching it. I doubt they could afford to rent the stuff long term for the show.

Beyond that, The friend needs to be fed to nearest group of wandering Buffet eaters immediately.
