I have been waiting for 2012 to come out Friday the 13th... ominous isn't it? I am even on the list of people that will be "saved" by being admitted on the survival ships!!! LUCKY ME!!! LOL.

Anyway it looks great. And on the 25th as others have said I am hoping to enjoy The ROad. And then in January comes The Book of Eli!!!!!

Taking my son to the movie in a few hours. Going to get the best seats, as I have been waiting a long time for this one. Hope it doesn't let me down. It's just too bad they don't destroy Mecca like all the other landmarks. Movie makers didn't want a fatwa on thier hands from those in the 'peaceful religion'.

Saw 2012 tonight and gave it an A+. didn't disappoint me or my son in the least. Theater was packed and the audience seemed to be in it the entire time, and cheered at the end. Not going to give details and ruin it for others.

Saw 2012 this evening too, I thought it was pretty good. The special effects were good but a little too theatrical in some ways.

OK 2012 was a really good movie. Held my attention from beginning to end. Loved how they used a conspiracy theory to suppport the plotline in several different places. But was thoroughly enjoyable movie.

GO SEE IT!!!

2012, the movie

Owl and I had a movie date tonight and saw 2012.

The way the world ends is the same as in The HAB Theory, a book from the 60s.

There is no survivalist info here, but good escapism from worrying about survival ;).

It was 2.5 hours long, at 2 hours I was looking at my watch, but it picked up again. I'd recommend it, the special effects were awesome.
