A 1956 post-apocalyptic science fiction novel turned into a movie written by the British author Samuel Youd under the pen name of John Christopher, the first in a series of post-apocalyptic novels written by Youd. It deals with the concept of a virus that kills off all forms of grass including wheat and rice etc. The story focuses on one families struggle to survive. Bug out senario. Part one is the lead in/pro-logue, part two picks up the pace. As usual, after the end of a part one you can access the subsequent parts at the bottom of the screen, or directly from you tube. Enjoy:
