  • San Andreas- new SHTF movie

coming out next summer a new SHTF move staring the Rock, about a huge earthquake on the San Andreas fault.

So far from the trailer, the effects looks cool, but not promising anything yet.

    You look and you decide.

Dwayne Johnson stars in SAN ANDREAS, in theaters May 29, 2015.http://facebook.com/sanandreasmoviehttp://sanandreasmovie.com---After the infamous San Andreas ...

Looks like a pretty good movie. From the trailer, it even seems like they may actually get the science right. Have to go see it. Thanks for the heads up ROBIE.

I saw this advertised, but I had not seen the trailer. The premise that I read said the Rock is trying to connect with his daughter who is in Los Angeles. Sounds interesting, and definitely something we have discussed here.

      Thanks for the post.

Sounds good. I'm sure the Rock will do things that we physically less well developed will envy!

I love the Rock! Hopefully this one will be good. Of course I even watch the dumb ones to see if I can pick up any legit ideas lol

I saw the trailer. Basically my worst nightmare. Being separated from my kids during SHTF. The creepy music didn't help. I know that CA builds their buildings with special motion stuff so for CA buildings to fall apart that must be one heck of a quake. Looks good though.
It comes out the day before my birthday! Momma movie time!

First I heard of this. Looks like might be a good one. I do like the Rock's movies so it'll be interesting. Wish one of these big budget movies would get done around something other than a natural disaster; something more like an EMP attack.

I don't know if any of these movies ever cause a few movie goers to "see the light" towards prepping, i hope some do. More likely most just walk away talking about the special effects but saying oh that could never happen.

I do to CrazeeMomma, like the Rock, that is. Yes it does look like it could be a pretty good movie.

Saw the movie today. Great movie! Actually showed much of what to do in those emergency situations. Make's a great point for anyone on the west coast. The big one is coming (already 150 years late) so be as prepared as possible. I know the scientist are actually predicting a quake of at least 8.5 when the San Andreas actually jumps.

Go watch it. It's worth the cost.

Why watch a movie when the real thing is happening in Japan today. Yesterday they had a 7.8 quake and today a 6.7. Who knows what will happen tomorrow.

Boy after the second one hit closer to the mainland, all I could think of was:

GODZILLA alive and well in the 21st century.

If Japan is shaking again I wonder what that means for that Fukashima reactor that is still jacked up and not secured.

YeAh, I just read that the Japan is preparing for the big one. Maybe Kaliforniastan will be next!

                              By the way....

The Rock is too big to fly helicopters!!! Haha His muSKels would get in the way!!!!

                              Funny story on the contrary:

We had a 6'9 helicopter pilot who flew little birds! lol He was a massive black warrant officer. He told me that he had to keep one leg out of the training helicopters he started on! Hell of a pilot though!!!!!!
