  • A little fun

I am a frugle person and refuse to own a credit card, or finance anything. Cash is king, in my book. If you cannot afford it, you do not need it. That being said, I pay cash for almost everything. There is a pretty cool website out there that is FREE and you can enter the serial number off of a bill, put a note on the bill and spend it. Then you can check out where it goes. I have been doing it for 9 years now and, so far, have not been spammed by them. I assume it is safe.

Track US or Canadian dollar bills as they travel across the country. Enter the serial number and zip code to track its past history. Get email when the next person registers your bill!

I actually posted this to make a point

Imagine if a dollar bill were sprayed with a bio agent with a 6 month residual, and a 9 month dormacy rate in the body. I have certain bills that have been entered 4 times in 6 months, and had traveled over 2400 miles. Now, imagine how many people's hands that bill touched to get 2400 miles? Imagine a flu-like virus? Or some sort of genetically altered form of Hepetitus A, B or C. Hep can live up to a week in dried blood, and often takes 6 months or more to manifest itself in a human. Does this fun little website prove a point? No, but it does show what can happen if a viral outbreak happens. It illistrates the 1930's infuenza outbreak that killed millions of people.

Wait until you actually put a few dollar

bills into the system and start seeing how far they go, and where they end up. It is especially interesting to me, since I travel a lot by air. My bills end up all over the place. It is just something to ponder. For now I just choose to focus on the fun of watching my bills travel about, and prefer to put aside the notion of the bills carrying e-bola zaire or antibiotic resistant tuberculosis. Know what I mean?

Now ya'll know why smart cashiers have bottles of hand sanitizer at their registers, especially during cold and flu season. I carry a small bottle for myself.

                Not me

I want exposed to all of it. Last time I got sick was about 3 years ago. I was on a plane ride coming from back east, and the plane was full of Japanese tourists going to or through DFW. Half of them had mucous flowing out of all their visible orafices. Don't know what they had, but I got it. High fever, hallucinations, breathing problems, and skin sensative to the touch. Weirdest thing I have ever felt. I think I am now immune.
