  • Tired of it.

Didn't know where else to post this, but figured I'd put it out there somewhere.

I'm tired of it. I'm tired of the law making officials writing up new laws, and putting them into effect without the consult of millions of registered voters. I'm tired of the constitution being regarded by our government as a 'guideline'. But most of all, I'm tired of all these idiotic people with their mental capacity to say, "oh well, nothing you can do about it."

I'm irritated at the fact that the U.S. Government is proposing to law, a way to make the 2nd ammendment of the Constitution - our Bill of Rights - null and void.
    - A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

I'm tired of courts backing the word of LEO's to avoid embarrassment. I'm sick of Bush getting away with mass murder in the attempt to coerce the American public to back him on the premise of "Weapons of Mass Destruction" which they still have not found any.

I'm agitated at the continual decline in value of the once greatest currency on the planet, and the injections of massive quatities of tax-payers money to businesses that eventually go bankrupt anyway. I'm tired of importing products from China, Japan, Korea, and Thailand, and allowing consumers to constantly send OUR country's money to THEM.

I'm tired of government. I'm frustrated in the thought of knowing I can't leave society, to live on a small parcel of land, due to the fact that I would still have to pay land taxes. I'm tired of watching the foundation of this country crumble under the feet of those who, like myself, feel compelled to save it.

THE NEW GUN LAW PROPOSAL IS EX POST FACTO!
    Ex post facto
ex post facto adj. Formulated, enacted, or operating retroactively. [Med Lat., from what is done afterwards] Source: AHD

In U.S. Constitutional Law, the definition of what is ex post facto is more limited. The first definition of what exactly constitutes an ex post facto law is found in Calder v Bull (3 US 386 [1798]), in the opinion of Justice Chase:

1st. Every law that makes an action done before the passing of the law, and which was innocent when done, criminal; and punishes such action. 2d. Every law that aggravates a crime, or makes it greater than it was, when committed. 3d. Every law that changes the punishment, and inflicts a greater punishment, than the law annexed to the crime, when committed. 4th. Every law that alters the legal rules of evidence, and receives less, or different, testimony, than the law required at the time of the commission of the offense, in order to convict the offender.

I'd write more, but it probably doesn't matter.

Words are becoming quite useless and malleable, aren't they?

"ex post facto" what you do legally today, can be held against you in a court of law tomorrow.

              What it says is:
              Amendment II.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
