Just need to vent if it isn't allowed just delete it.

I just got through watching my Assistant Manager and Lead clerk being led out of my store in handcuffs. I went in this morning and was reviewing the security tapes when i see my AM being rung up by my LC about 30 minutes after i left yesterday. Since it is a violation of company policy to shop on the clock i looked up the transaction in the register and saw that she paid $3 for a whole buggy of groceries. After calling my DM we went back for the last 3 weeks and looked at every time they had worked together.Long story short when the Asset protection guys got through interviewing them they had both confessed to stealing over $10,000 worth of merchandise in the last 4 months. I am in shock and mad enough enough to kill them because i trusted them, promoted them, and got them huge raises and this is the way they repay me. Thanks to them i will miss out on my $3,000 shrink bonus next year.:mad::mad::mad:

Sorry to hear that, Man...I've caught guys I thought I could trust pawning off my tools to get a bag of weed......it sucks, but you gotta forget about it and move on, or you'll just be another bitter boss that nobody wants to work for....try and forgive 'em...they'll suffer for their crimes, and you'll hurt your own health by holding that grudge.

My prayers for you, and them too....

All I know is the road I've travelled, and I'm always willing to map it out for someone heading the same direction....helps us meet up faster.;)

My dad was bankrupted by guys just as bad and worse as those you mentioned, PPL he trusted. Cost my dad a million dollars and years of grief he should not have had to endure, hurt me quite badly as well. I'm not so willing to be forgiving to those PPL that knowingly hurt my family to such an extent for thier own personal gain.

I agree...forgiveness is rough, and rare....but like all good things, it takes time, patience, and hard work.....and we all know that anything worth all that time and work is worth the outcome.

Sorry to hear that FoF. It sucks to be taken advantage of like that when you trusted them. Makes you not want to trust the next employees that replace them. Sorry to hear the news.

What kind of store do you operate? Grocery?
