The sole purpose of a child's middle name is so he can tell when he's really in trouble.

My eldest's name is Shari Sue, we always called her Shari. Her best friend was Tara Lynn. One day Tara had tracked mud into the living room. I hollered, "TARA SUE!!" I heard Shari whisper, "WHAT did you DO??" She knew the truth of this one!

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it. For example I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

This one is true in SO many ways. I remember once Skowl was looking at some pics online of some FABULOUS houses and sighed. He said, "I wanted to give you one of THOSE." :eek: Can you IMAGINE?? I have a house that is fine! We have each other (best of all!) and three children who are all tax-paying responsible adults who are raising our five grandchildren, all of whom love us. All of whom TALK to us. What the hell else do I need?? Pfffft!! Men! I DO take some responsibility for this one, obviously, I had not told him often enough how grateful I am for our lives and what we have.

Aging: Eventually you will reach a point when you stop lying about your age and start bragging about it.

I'm not there yet, I'm still 29! :rolleyes:

When you are dissatisfied and would like to go back to your youth, think of Algebra.

Um. Remember when I said I was weird? I loved algebra and calculus...
