  • How to get your mojo back

Here are some quick and easy exercises you can do once a day that can keep you energized all day long.

Begin by standing on a comfortable surface where you have plenty of room at each side.

With a 5-lb. potato sack in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, then relax.

Each day, you’ll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer.

After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb.potato sacks, then 50-lb. potato sacks, and eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-lb. potato sack in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute.

After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each of the sacks.

    That was cute.........Thanks.

One day you eat the chicken.....next day the left-over chicken.....next five days you eat chicken feathers, head and feet.

LOL... Oh now there is one to add to my Dad joke repertoire.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you!

Grizz: That is twice where you had me hook, line, and sinker. Just reel me in. Very good. LOL

Hopefully many more times! The more smiles all around, the better I like it!

And here I thought I would always find my mojo at the bottom of a bottle of Scotch. What was I thinking?

I found this gal quite by accident, but I have gone down the rabbit hole and really enjoy her You Tube videos. She is a breath of fresh air, and you could watch these with your kids and grandkids. Nothing to do with prepping, but I hope you all get a good laugh.

Griz: I think you will really like this one.

                            ROFL !!

Long, long ago, when I was but a skinny, weedy, totally-bookish B/B+ Science-Stream teen, one of my 'elder cousin-in-laws' used to park his weights set at our house. He'd park outside, load them into his little car, go to nearby gym, pump iron and flaunt both his abs and testosterone...

He used to tease my obvious unfitness relentlessly, nag my parents about getting me 'gymmed up'...

Normally, I was not allowed to help him move his set --'My Precious !!'-- but, one-day, 'running late', he did not decline my polite offer.

So, I casually pick up his two biggest 'rings' by their edges, one in each hand, and walk them out to his car.

                            "Here y'go..."

After he retrieved his jaw from the side-walk, he never, ever, ever said another word about my 'fitness' or otherwise.

                            ==

Happens I did just enough shopping-bag toting, kayaking and helping with modular scaffolding to have much stronger hands and rather more upper-body strength than apparent. Also, I could hold those 'rings' for little further than where he'd parked, but he was too astonished to realise. And perhaps, if/when he did figure it, he realised that any comment could only back-fire...
