Uses for Coffee Grounds
Check out the following eleven ways to use coffee grounds before you throw them away.
1-Got ants? Try sprinkling used coffee grounds in corners, and around water sources
2-Rid your fridge of that funky smell. Deodorize the interior with a bowl of used coffee grounds in the same way that you'd rely on a box of baking soda.
3-Musty closets and smelly mud rooms, add a bag filled with the coffee grounds. The smell will just disappear.
4-Keep a can of used grounds next to the fireplace and when you go to sweep the ashes, add a little sprinkling of the grounds. It cuts down on dust.
5-If you mix the used grounds in some hot water and then apply a cotton swab, dipped in the warm liquid to the table or chair scratch, it will reduce its appearance.
6-When washing your hair, rub coffee grounds through the ends, rinse and be prepare tfeel softer locks.
7-Rub your hands together with coffee grounds, after cutting onions and garlic to help get rid of the smell on your hands.
8-Mix some of the leftovers with a body wash, pat it on your skin with a washcloth, and exfoliate your bodies
calloused areas.
9-Adding some used coffee grounds to indoor plant dirt, it will help fertilize, and keep them healthy.
10-The grounds repel snails and slugs, so if you're looking for a natural outdoor insect repellent....
11-Add your left over grounds to your composting bin, it provides much needed nitrogen and a base for the break down of the plant material.
