I just found "Doomsday Preppers Bugged Out" on NtGeo. It is on tonight at 10pm episode 3.
I didn't notice it before. Looks like it is by the same folks that did the first series.
I liked the first series. Some of it was good information, and some of it was good entertainment LOL

That sucks, I just saw it tonight and hit the DVR. I was going to watch it after I caught up on this forum. Now I guess I will be going to sleep early.

It really doesn't hurt to watch them a second time. I will pick up a few things that I did not notice the first time.
I believe the new series starts on November 13th. If I don't miss my guess they will probably have a marathon showing all of the old episodes leading up to the new show.
The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary.

Through the slow summer of TV I have watched them all multiple times. I agree, you do pick up additional things you missed or forgot. The shows are superficial, but still I enjoy watching them.

i agree that the show has good points i watch them just so i can see what to do and what not to do. i am very aware of the real need to prep but i would never go on tv and show what i am doing so the goverment can prevent me from doing what i know is right.
Oh boy! Watched the new Preppers show last night 11-04-2012. At least I think it was new because we hadn't seen it before. I can imagine what it must be like for the people who do require specific medicine to survive. The government has quietly talked about the culling of the herd. Its easy to see how this is one way to get rid of many American citizens in a relatively short period of time. My husband requires certain heart meds to keep his heart in proper rhythm. We have done a bunch of research to see what herbal replacements there might be out there. Another thing that we have done is to hoard as much as we can by slightly cutting back on his meds without hurting him. We have even thought about the last resort of actually robbing a pharmacy if the deterioration of the country is suddenly profoundly upon us. EMP for example. Have any of you come up with more information on medicinal replacements? Would love to hear what might be available. Thanks all.

I thought the first couple on tonight's show were about the best set up yet. The only thing I thought was "less than perfect" was the company logo on the side of their truck. Any nutcase could find there contact info and address in 5 minutes. I googled the name and the state the were in and their company website popped up. I know you have mo expectation of privacy when you go on this show, but I would at least use a fake name to slow down any crazy people from finding me.

the first TWO couples were pretty good... I thought MAYBE Natgeo was finally starting to show some normal preppers....

the last lady was/is a total nutcase....not a prepper at all.....and since next week's episode is a repeat, I am assuming last night's episode was the season finale....great....let's end on the worst possible note ever.....
we as preppers are screwed.... the media will forever portray us as wackos..... we would be better off being lepers during the Middle Ages......
I am not watching that show again..... it is an insult to all the people who are serious about taking responsibility for their lives and the safety of others.... Natgeo can kiss my uber white arse.....

Yes they were out there, but I did think they were very fortunate to find that house. If they did get serious about prepping, it would be an awesome retreat.
I wasnt crazy about the road warrior guy. Not a big fan of bugging out with no specific prepared site in mind. Just don't believe it will work.

at least the Ancient Aliens didn't send him a wavelength telling him to wander the country aimlessly in his Doomsday mobile..... he has no real plan, but at least he came to it honestly..... he' s ignorant, not insane.... give his vehicle to the first couple, and now you have a good example of prepping.... all the bases covered...
glad to see we are not the only ones missing a pill here or there.
And yes obamacare will kill off as many seniors as possible. that way they can cut back on social security and medicare and say they fixed the problem.
