My lady friend occasionally jokes "you're crazy". I have told her to keep this between us as her jesting could be misconstrued by "others" and lead to .... trouble.

My wife was violently ill from a stomach bug a couple weeks ago. I took her to the ER and because she had had the screaming violent poops for 6 hours and had thrown up at the same time needless to say she didnt feel like talking much. So as she lay there I answered most of the dr's questions.

Now to claim our AFLAC insurance we asked for the records and dr notes to send in...... DR said in his notes that my wife shows signs of depression because she didnt want to talk with him.

IDIOT! but now that is in her permanent medical records.

some medical terms are so over used that it's pathetic. At the same time, hospitals and ER's are so liability conscious that they use the "shot gun" approach to make sure all the bases are covered. Easy fix to the "depression" eval is to go to your own doctor and have him give her a follow up. At the same time, cover the "depression" label from the ER report and have your doctor write a specific response in her files, disregarding the "depression" label.

This is another fine example of how anything you post on the internet can and will be used against you. I'm sure that when they did the evaluation they more than likely also viewed his youtube rants and that was enough to nail the coffin shut. They will also be used as evidence against him when he tries to get exonerated from the charges. So take heed, anything you post on facebook, youtube or any other publicly available site will be used against you. It may seem harmless to you and you may have posted it in jest, but the internet cannot determine the satire, inflection or tone in which you post, as someone can when talking face to face. Also never joke about anything like suicide with doctors, as was posted earlier they are required by law to inform the authorities. Even if you've known your doctor for years and joke with them regularly some things are better left unsaid. Why do you say this? You, we, have the God given right to express ourselves in what ever fashion we choose so long as we don't impose on or bring harm to others.

We now live in a totalitarian police state. The very mention of your behavior as being questionable .... by anyone .... without any proof can result in your being detained .... without a criminal charge .... against your will.

.... but I agree, some things you should just keep to yourself. Lets hope all is not in vain and his dilemma serves as a clarion call of another injustice.

                +1

there are very very few people you should trust this implicitly; if you have more then 3 either you are very lucky, or a disaster waiting to happen. Like they say "keep your friends close and your enemies closer".
