  • Worst Doomsday preppers yet

Tyler Smith near Tacoma Washington has assembled a group of friends who plan on being "marauders" when shtf.
Now, I don't usually knock these folks. It is too easy to sit and watch a person's preps and poke holes in it. And it isn't too fair, since I am sure someone looking my stuff over can find a lot to criticize.
But..... This extremely obese, ignorant yokel, said he is coming for my preps and there is nothing I can do to stop it. He is also planning on making home made chloroform, and performing a C-section himself on his wife, though his medical background is self taught. He is planning on doing the procedure in his barn. He literally said, he doesn't know what he is doing, but he has read a lot of books.
The episode is still going on, but I couldn't wait to post this...... This guy is the most ignorant tub of stupid I have seen on one of these shows yet. They have really scraped the bottom of the barrel in my opinion.

The reason they used him was, while not nearly perfect, far to many of the preppers shown actually have a constructive idea or two. Someone insisted that an ignoramus be shown to short out any good ideas and/or preps shown to date.

I actually dug into him based on what Nat Geo gave me, and found his name, address, telephone, cousin's name address telephone, also his favorite screen-name for going on prepping sites..... Too easy. And, here is my point for ripping this guy a new one. He is bragging that the day the grid goes down his group will assemble and start stealing from everyone else. So if I lived near his burb, dealing with this fat idiot would be job one for me when SHTF.

Oh 1 more tidbit of why I know he is stupid....... he is totally prepping, but he is a big Obama fan. Moron.

I am watching it right now..... big Baby Huey is making a suit of armor that weighs over a 100 Pounds..... No f-ing way is lardass going to be able to carry that much weight......

I am not saying that I am an Olympic athlete.....far from it.....but I know my limitations.....and I am not working on a suit of armor that weighs almost as much as I do! He needs to invest in a home gym and Jenny Craig and skip on the marauding fantasies......

A big AMEN to that Amy! At my age (70 the last week of October) my preps must include extra eye glasses, a potato masher, possibly a cane and recording/teaching my knowledge for the younger members of my family. Now don't get me wrong, I plan to live as long as I can, as well as I can, but the survival of my family is utmost to me.

Baahahahahahahahahah..........hahahah. This tub of crap wouldn't even make a fire fight interesting. If he had the brains to evade my booby-traps to start with. Guess they have to do something for ratings. :)

I was watching this also. Got nothing from it. It seemed to be one of the dumbest shows yet. Does the fat guy really think people are going to sit around and let these guys take our stuff? I really don't think so. And a suit of armor that weighs in at 100 lbs. My husband would not be able to stand up in something like that. (he needs to get real). Maybe he needs to have his stomach stapled so he wouldn't need to eat so much. then he wouldn't need to take from other people. He would have enough food because he can't eat so much.

I didn't watch it. I trust what you guys have to say though.

In my area of the country, we have another name for people like that:

                  "Pop-up Targets"

There is a reason I posted how easy it is to find his information. I figured that would be enough for any nearby preppers to find how close he is to them, and make their plans accordingly.

I can't believe he went on TV boasting that his group didn't need to stock up on supplies, because they were coming for ours. It is offensive on so many levels. You can almost just laugh him off, but then he is serious, so even stupid people can be dangerous.

This is one example where I can fully understand why prepping is marginalized and considered "aberrant" .

Thanks, Applejack. Lucky me, I don't feel any older than I did 15 years ago! And many happy returns to your Hubby!

This guy really is an nuts, if he put that afford in prepping for his family, he wouldn't have to figure out how to stay alive.

                          I watched it and was able to give a sigh of relief. Here is an idea that all preppers need to watch out for. An organized group who will concentrate upon gaining supplies by taking them. we all expect unorganized groups to attempt to take supplies from others. Mostly from those unprepared;
But has anyone thought about groups which are organized to do the same thing?

My group has a farm and if SHTF happens we hope to group together to survive, and utilize our farm as a base camp; to expand in the years to come.

I do not know what we as a group, would do if we were mostly killed off, our equipment destroyed, and all our supplies taken by an organized force.

It should to make you think about defense, in and around your retreat.

PS we bought class IIIA ceramic body armor last year for most male group members. Not me I have a M-60 to protect me!!!!!!

he he he lets see what a 105mm or a 12.50mm round does to his body armor!

Assuming he does not lose his life on one of his marauding forays, what is he going to do when he runs out of local targets? After a couple of forays, injuring or killing people to steal their supplies, I have a feeling people will start to band together against him. Even sheeple won't sit still for his kind of survival!

                              Rich,

I don't think this guy is intelligent enough to avoid the simplest of booby traps and IED's. Much less realize that someone with a good rifle will be taking head shots to start with. How's his body armor going to stand up to that? I am like you and part of my planning is actually how to deal with looters or government mercs that are out to take what's mine. Wish I had your resources. LOL. Have to be content with sniping and things that go boom.
