I thought the show was interesting, but I don't know many people who have $450,000 for a bunker. I hope that they show more reasonably priced ones or it is just going to be a wishful thinking show for me.
About the under ground bunkers:
I remember the 50's Early 60's, ( I was a kid ) people were building them back then.
It was the hight of the COLD WAR and bunkers were all the rage. Followed by bell
bottom pants and palsy shirts.
I would think they are a great place to store and hide, for a while anyway, but I'm not a under ground person. And a $450,000 bunker? What heppen if some one sits on the air vent, has lunch, and becomes gasEE?
So far, the one I liked the best was, is - The family with two converted school buses along with some SUV's. They have everything and are set for a long time, but where are they going?
I'm a in place guy. I'm set here and I'll leave when a nuclear cloud is blowing my way.
I turely, feel 99% of the time, your safer in your home.

I agree 99% of the time it is better for everyone just to stay home and mind your own business .

Yup, I feel the same way. No need to get your panties in a twist at the first hint of trouble, you're better off assessing the situation first and hunker down and make your preparations to bug out if it comes to that. No sense in pulling a chicken little right out of the gate.
Yeah I saw the commercials for it the other night. It looks interesting I just hope it lives up to the hype. It seems a lot of these shows start out great but fizzle out real fast when they run out of material. As with most shows it's all about ratings, if people aren't watching no matter how good the show is they usually don't last long. Lets hope this one last longer than just a pilot episode.
Joe
Well, they made it a bit past the pilot, but not far. What were there a half a dozen episodes and haven't herd anything of a season 2 yet?
