  • Senators Want To Put People In Jail For Embedding YouTube Videos

    More hope & change.

This is, of course, ridiculous, and suggests (yet again) politicians who are regulating a technology they simply do not understand. Should it really be a criminal act to embed a YouTube video, even if you don't know it was infringing...? This could create a massive chilling effect to the very useful service YouTube provides in letting people embed videos.

Okay, this is just getting ridiculous. A few weeks back, we noted that Senators Amy Klobuchar, John Cornyn and Christopher Coons had proposed a new bill that was designed to make “streaming&#…

politicians are trying to stay one step ahead and prevent people showing them doing something dirty. lol You know like sneaking out of their mistress' back door. Or maybe taking that bribe.

Isn't it amazing that most politicians are actual lawyers? You know lawyers have their reputation for a reason and I think the same for politicians too.

whats even more interesting, no one knows how many federal laws there are. the best guess is around half a million with about four thousand being added every couple of years.

I laugh when some one says they are law abiding. between local, state and federal laws. the only people not breaking the law are under the age of two, and I wouldnt bet much money on that being true either.

enough with passing frivolous inane laws. enough with the stupidity.

        Ughhh makes me sick.
        Makes no sense though.
The code for the youtube videos are available to everyone.
It's pretty much the same thing as us posting these articles with the link.

you know how to tell the difference between a lawyer and a vampire. one is a blood sucking, evil creature of the night, the other is a bat.

              Bingo!

              - Video of someone being roughed up by a groping TSA agent.
              - Video of the animals who invade the state house pushing more socialism.
              - Video of an "immigrants rights" parade showing the signs printed by CPUSA and other Marxist groups.
              - Video of an honest American asking a presidential candidate a question where the candidate goes off the reservation and tells the truth about his belief in "spreading the wealth".
              - Video of a "church" "pastor" shouting, "God DAMN America!"
              - Video of their pet organization giving advice on using 13 YO girls as sex slaves.
              - Video of ... anything that might show the truth about the ones banning the videos.

The woman who was sent a lewd photo from the Twitter account of Rep. Anthony Weiner says she doesn’t think the New York Democrat’s account was hacked, but that he may have been trying to send the photo to a porn star with a similar name.

I wonder what impact this would have on Free speech rulings. if you link a post, its essentially the same thing as a Reference for a book or article. complete with the Author's name and publication of origin.

what this seems like is another power grab. to keep things they dont like from being passed around. I wonder if they realize the more oppressive they get the more likely something is going to explode in the future.

Unfortunately, I think they want things to explode, that's why he keeps sticking his thumb in our eyes. Once things explode, he can declare martial law and take our weapons. Yep, I think that's what they want.

well we can only wait and see. we have traded off rights and privacy for years becuase we were told it was necessary to fight crime, helps the nation or it keeps us safe. when it truth it only added another link in the chains.

I really shouldn't say this because I really don't judge people on looks, but that Weiner looks like a real Di** ****!
