I liked the original, hope the remake is as good.

Man, me too.. I have seen 2 movies, in theater in the last 3 years. Rambo and Justin Bieber (God, bless my 8 year old and her b-day wish, 3-D mind you)

I hope Hollywood does not F-this up... If Patrick Swayze were her to star in it, Id feel a bit better knowing he could pull a "RoadHouse" on the enemy.. Im afraid for the disappointment... it wont be the same w/out Charlie Sheen and Jennifer Gray ( pre nose job) ahhhhh the 80's........

I understand that Hollywood is remaking "Red Dawn". I hope they get into the survival techniques more. Hollywood has a tendency to border on the ridiculous. But if anything can be learned, it'll be better than most movies today.

As a former Coastie, our motto, "Semper Paratus" (Always Prepared), is the best policy. Don't wait until something happens. There will be a mad dash by everyone for ammo, weapons, supplies, fuel, etc. Better to have it stockpiled and ready to use in the event you need it. Expensive? How much is your family worth to you?
