I'm an expert on matters when it comes to the guvamint and the treausry, but then again I don't think the clowns runningit now are either.
I'm torn on this topic.... On 1 hand I wish we would default and maybe that would finally cause the country to get its fiscal matters in order.
On the other hand I'm also afraid how bad our economy and way of life would get afterwards, so I'm hesitant about wishing the country to default.
I do know before they increase the limit I wish they would pass some REAL expense cuts and get rid of the waste and BS. I also wish they would pass a mandatory balanced budget amendment.
Just my shiny 2 pennies. Who knows in a year from now they might actually be worth 2 cents! lol
We blew through the ceiling this AM. Turbo Tax Timmy has decided he'll cover the shortfall by not paying into the Civil Service retirement fund. "Until Congress votes to raise the ceiling."
If they do, they better attach HUGE cuts or they won't get re-elected.

wow I need to proofread better. My opening line should have said I'm NOT an expert...
Turbo Tax Timmy is a great one! BTW didn't the Feds come down hard on some companies not to long ago for raiding the retirement fund? Guess its ok when the ones "in charge" break the rules or do whatever they want.

You are right on the money. With this crowd, that's the whole name of the game! All the rules are for us peons, but good grief, you expect THEM to follow any?? But then, that's the way it always is with Marxists.

This topic really concerns me since I've been watching fiscal matters the past year. I've read the treasury has to borrow between .43 cents to .49 cents for every dollar it spends depending on which number is right. After seeing the politicians debate the budget itself I'm expecting lots of cuts in spending before the debt ceiling gets raised. I find this all very alarming to put it mildly.
They are using the Rules for Radicals to implement Cloward and Pivens plan to so overload the system that it collapses. Then, when men are out of work, hungry, and need to feed their children, the government will step in and say, "Here's the solution..." And many will welcome the Marxist paradise.
And we'll be screwed.

Sorry, just stating the facts as I see them. I spent the first bit of BOs term trying to figure him out. Couldn't figure out how he could do EXACTLY the wrong thing 100% of the time if he was only stupid. Seemed logical that he'd get something right by accident upon occasion. Already knew about Cloward and Piven, it was used to bankrupt NY City (1975) as a test run. It worked. BOs crowd is now taking it nation-wide.
I've seen them (we all have) do so many things straight out of Rules for Radicals, that it can't be an accident. Many may not recognize them, but it's all there. :(
if they are going to screw me so much....they should at least buy me dinner and kiss me first.....LOL...*sigh*....
you ever look around and think this is all a dream....like a splinter in your mind....I guess we all chose to stay in wonderland and see how deep the rabbit hole goes....
damn red pill.....
Sorry for the movie reference.....couldn't help it....:)
