I just finished up "Road Work" by Richard Bachman....It was OK...not one of the best.
I do read John Grisham from time t time....I like his style....but sometimes his bleeding heart gets in the way of me enjoying his work....I just got done with "The Associate" a couple months back.....it was worth the read.
I have went through most of the Robert Ludlum collection (author of the "Bourne" books)....very enjoyable.
Been listening to some of Micheal Crichton's stuff....very science oriented.Live like you'll die tomorrow, learn like you'll live forever.

Reading " A State of Disobedience" by Tom Kratman for about the fifth time since it was published in 2003. Very phophetic for the time and the erosion of freedom. For leisure reading I recommend John Ringo's "Ghost" series but it's not for the faint at heart as some parts of the hero border on psyco.

"Lucifer's Hammer" is dated, but still a great read. "Ghost Soldiers" is a fantastic account of a little known mission during WWII, highly recommend that one.
I am currently reading the last book in Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series. I am also reading "1776" by David McCullough. I have a ridiculous number of books and would like to some day actually read most of them.

Now that is a dilemma
I keep 3 to 4 audiobooks on my MP3 all the time.
google "free audio books"....most history books are public domain...and free to download.
I also use the public library.....all the current titles.
I rarely listen to music in the car.....it's nice to learn while you drive.
I listen to music while surfing the net....right now Counting Crows....earlier CCR and some QueensRyche.....yesterday it was Suicidal Tendencies and Journey.
Mix it up with a little Holmes, Dr Watson, and Patrick Henry......and you get a pretty well rounded day....:)Live like you'll die tomorrow, learn like you'll live forever.
