  • Can the US Really Be Responsible for the World's Poor?

Many people in the US and around the world want the US the be responsible for the world's poor. The US govenment is told that the immigration limit should be raised. We should give more money to world organizations that aid the poorest people.

Well this guy explains, using gumballs, why the immigration route will not work. I actually saw this a couple of years ago in person and it is truly amazing the response that he gets from the audience. Watch and learn why it is not possible to help the poorest of the world by taking them into our country. Sounds harsh but that is the reality. Now THAT is scary. Sometimes I want to drag people in, open their heads and POUR some sense into them!

Like the young guy who asked me who I was going to vote for. I told him, "Not the Socialist!" He asked, "He's not a Socialist. And besides, what's wrong with that?"

I wanted to cry at his ignorance.

I often have these kinds of debates with people and that was a great way to make my point. I may have to start carrying gum balls around. Thanks for the link..
