Fema began staging at Ft. Campbell's Sabre heliport the middle of January. Seems a tad early for a May NLE. I have read that the "focus" is on a New Madrid quake zone event senario .... and then there's the fbi remarking that with 100% certainty a terrorist nuclear attack will occur .... at some point. May be an "interesting" summer.

National Level Event 2011 (NLE 2011)

In the past, NLE's have not been "advertised" events- this years is different. Those folks that have kept up with the governments Get Ready campaign over the last several years have watched this program grow exponentially... read into what you may, but our federal government has never been more proactive in encouraging citizens to prepare for disasters, both natural, man-made, and otherwise.
