And now she's back alive.

Apparently took a shot in one temple, bullet exited out the other. Doctor says they are hopeful.

The day has been a roller-coaster. Gabby was/is our Congress Critter. First she was dead, then she was alive. We didn't like her, we didn't vote for her, but she didn't deserve this!

The left is in full Sarah-Palin-and-Glenn-Beck-drove-him-to-do-it mode. They've blamed the TEA party, the guy who ran against her in the last election, George Bush, veterans, and on and on, everyone except the nutjob.

When CNN first released the guys name, they spelled it wrong. Immediately, there was a facebook page put up with the wrong spelling, with links to conservative and TEA party sites. OOPS! When the correct spelling was released, it was a very different story.

As the truth trickles out, we learn that he was a lefty and probably a druggie and a definite nutso. His facebook page was incoherent ramblings, ranting about government mind control and, of all things, grammar. Although he claimed to be a recruit, we learn he was refused entrance to the military.

We still haven't heard a lot of detail about the actual shooting event.

I read one alleged eye-witness account that said there were 20-30 people there. According to this account, Gabby had a table set up outside the store and the shooter came out of the door, approached, put the gun to her head and fired then opened up on the others, shooting a total of 19 people. If true, that's a hell of a percentage of those present.

Supposedly the bullet went in her temple and came out her forehead - no confirmation on that. No confirmation on anything except that a Federal judge and a 9 YO child were killed.

Have read that there were 9 killed, have read that 4 were killed. Don't know the facts, yet.

Have heard that someone in the crowd shot the shooter, not security. Haven't heard that again and the eye-witness account above didn't mention anyone in the crowd doing any shooting, just that the shooter was "tackled" by the crowd.

Doesn't make a lot of sense. He's busy shooting 19 people (what in hell kind of gun was THAT?) and no one stopped him during re-load or while he was facing away from them? That kind of accuracy in a 22 YO kid w/o military experience is pretty far out. This IS Arizona, why DIDN'T someone in the crowd shoot him?

Yep. If you make a disgusted (not obscene) gesture at one and say, "You SUCK", can they arrest you?

The news still hasn't settled down (journalism has completely died, not even on life-support any more).

- We still aren't sure exactly how many were shot (was it 19 or 20?).
- We are pretty sure that 6 have died, that's been stable for today.
- Where she was shot has moved from what I originally posted (temple-to-temple through and through), to in the temple out over the opposite eye brow, to back of the head out through the same-side eye socket, to back of head and out the forehead, essentially lobotomizing her.
- We heard that someone in the crowd shot at the shooter, we heard that he was the only one shooting.
- We heard that he had a Glock 9mm. That's pretty stable, but were his extended magazines 18 or 30 rounds?
- We heard that Gabby is talking and responsive, we heard that they've removed the top half of her skull to ameliorate the brain swelling and have her in a drug-induced coma. Suspect that second one is true, from what I know of brain injury. Saw a doctor interview that took her for a CT scan, he said she never spoke or opened her eyes, but would squeeze his hand when asked to - that was before the drug-induced coma.
- Of course the libtard media is trying to say he's driven by Beck/Palin/TEA Party right-wing evildoers. His friends say he was a druggie libtard. His mother is an activist dumbocrap, and a Tucson city official. Suspect that's why charges were dropped when he was arrested in 2007 on possession.

Also suspect that idiot sheriff that keeps shooting his yap off is trying to give himself cover - it was on his watch that Loughner got his weapon and had the possession charges dropped and didn't get too closely evaluated when the school complained that he was dangerous. If he had followed through on the school complaint, Loughner would never have gotten approved for the Glock. And now that I think about it, even that is supposition - don't know when he bought the Glock, he was reported by the school in October '10.

I've seen one pic of the scene that had Gabby in it - she was on a stretcher, her face was very bloody and the right side was all bandaged. So her exit wound is on the right, have that bit fairly sound, anyway.

Hoooo boy. What a mess.
