The "Don't touch my junk" guy is supposedly assessed an $11K fine. They threatened that when he was in the airport. Not sure how they can do that if you opt out and leave the airport.

I have also heard the the musim women are not to be searched below the neck. If I have to they have to!

Heard an interview today with a female pilot who won't fly because them feeling her up has traumatized her. Not sure it'd traumatize me, but it'd sure piss me off.

I always thought this was the true intent of the terrorist plot that blew up the twin towers. I don't think they really thought they could destroy America by knocking down some buildings. We have to admit they did succeed in taking away some of our freedom and instilling a mass fear into the heart of America and giving the Government an excuse to take away our rights. I told my wife today that when we fly I don't mind the scanner so much for myself(not happy about it either), but that I really did not want my 4 yr old going through. Mainly because I do not feel there has been sufficient testing, but have you seen that video of them patting down that screaming kid. I am not real happy about the idea of some recently paroled child molester touching my kid either. Hopefully by the time I travel, these holidays will have worked much of this out.

We have pretty much stopped flying, but I just bought tickets for Orlando. Decided that as long as my daughter still loves the princesses we needed to make the trip to Disney and it is just too far to drive. We are driving to NY for Christmas and 14 hours is long enough.

It will be interesting if in 20 yrs, business men/women start getting cancer and if they can sue. As long as I get to choose to have a female screener for my pat down, maybe I can save soom money(just kidding).
